My original intention for this blog was to share my sewing experience with you, hence the title "SEW IT MY WAY" then there was a point of no return when I combined sewing, painting, quilting creating asbtract art with fabric by way of the beautiful colors of batik's,and machine embroidery!I fell in love with watercolor and later oils! My life now is filled with a passion to sew, paint, garden, cook and other creative ways to share with you all that comes my way!

Canning closet
Here's a peek of our canning closet. There's salsa, sundried tomatoes, sauce cooked, blended tomatoes, cauliflower, pickles, cucumber relish and grape jam. All from our garden.
TGIF
It's 48* here in CT and rainy. Fall cleaning and drying herbs are calling. I hope to have time over the weekend to dry all the herbs still in the garden. Will post pictures in the next post.

Fall Duties Oct. 12, 2009
The garden was good to us again this year. We canned several baskets of tomatoes. This is a picture of a Squeezo Machine which separates the tomatoe skins and seeds and gives you only the pulp of the tomatoe.
